Roshan Mendis
Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer, Travel Solutions
Roshan Mendis is the Chief Commercial Officer and Executive Vice President at Sabre Corporation. Roshan is responsible for overseeing global sales, account management, commercial operations, business development and customer support for Sabre’s customer portfolio – encompassing both the travel commerce and Airline IT businesses.
Roshan has spent most of his professional life at Sabre. Previous to his current role, Roshan was the Chief Commercial Officer for Sabre’s global travel commerce (GDS) business, led the successful acquisition and integration of Abacus into Sabre and was the President of Travelocity.com and Zuji.com businesses, both consumer-facing brands that were part of the Sabre portfolio.
Roshan also serves on the board of Conferma, a Sabre and Mastercard Inc. joint venture company as its non-executive chairman and on the board of Yatra Online, Inc. (NASDAQ: YTRA) as an independent board member.
A native of Sri Lanka, Roshan completed his undergraduate studies at Chaminade University of Honolulu and University of Cambridge (UK). He later earned his MBA at the Rice University in Houston, Texas.
Based in London, when not working, Roshan enjoys spending time at home with his family, cycling, following Formula 1 racing and traveling.
